First baby of 2025 welcomed at Rio Grande Regional Hospital

Rio Grande Regional Hospital proudly welcomed its first baby of the New Year, Baby Jacob M. Macias II, into the world at 4:27am on January 1, 2025. Baby Jacob, born to proud parents Ashley Ramirez and Jacob M. Macias, weighed 7 pounds, 5.7 ounces and measured 19 ¾ inches long.

Delivered by Dr. Rodriguez de Lima, Baby Jacob’s arrival marks a joyful beginning to 2025 for his family and our community.
