HCA’s Makes Computerworld’s List of 100 Best Places to Work in Information Technology for Fifth Consecutive Year

HCA the parent company of McAllen’s Rio Grande Regional Hospital was once again the only healthcare institution selected as one of Computerworld’s top workplaces for information technology professionals for the fifth year in a row. HCA ranked No. 42 on Computerworld’s 2013 “Best Places to Work in Information Technology” list of 100 companies.

The department’s array of services includes business analysis, systems development, systems integration, information security, customer support, training and education, and infrastructure support.  IT&S offers a diversified development program and a number of recognition opportunities that exemplify the high priority given to providing employees the resources and support to realize professional and personal ambitions in their own unique ways. However, probably the best offering in its curriculum is the IT Healthcare Connection program, which immerses IT&S employees into the hospital environment to help them further understand and appreciate the effect of their work.
