Giving Back to the Community We Serve by Spreading Holiday Cheer

Once again, employees at Rio Grande Regional Hospital helped spread holiday cheer to over 425 students at Navarro Elementary. The smile on the faces of every child when they see Santa and all his helpers is priceless…and it’s all due to your tremendous generosity of our employees! The students were thrilled when they received their gifts and were able to interact with Mrs. Claus and the elves. A very special THANK YOU to Roy Garza (Respiratory Therapy) who was Santa Claus, Cathy Vela (Food and Nutrition Services) who was Mrs. Claus and to our Elves: Monica Pena (Med/Surg), Iza Luna (Physical Therapy) and Hector Mendoza, RN (Emergency Department). Taking part in such activities is the right thing to do for our community we so proudly serve.
